The components we use to develop our various projects/products are essentially:
1) Micro-computers. We use exclusively Freescale (Motorola) microcomputers, and depending on the specific applicatory difficulties inherent in the project, we use the S08 and S12 ranges.
2) DSP (Digital Signal Processors). We use exclusively the Freescale (Motorola) 56800 and 56800E ranges.
3) Programmable logics. We use exclusively Lattice products, primarily the ispMACH 4000, ispMACH 4A5 and MachXO ranges.
4) Power components. Despite having very wide experience in the field, in the last few years we have moved decisively towards the IGBTs produced by Trench Technology.
Over the last 25 years the TecnApGroup has, in addition, designed and built many custom products, in both the power electronics and general electronics fields. This is a segment of activity that has led us to work together with universities, technology parks and Italian and foreign companies. The most important partnerships in this regard to date are:
- Electronics for lifts, together with Emergenzamatic srl (www.emergenzamatic.it);
- Electronics in the control sphere, together with ITEL Telecomunicazioni srl (www.itelte.it).
- Electronics for military power plants, together with several foreign companies.
The effective and advanced technology and experience that we have garnered and put to the test from these fruitful collaborations concern the following sectors:
- Management of single-phase and three-phase power plants of medium-to-high power and with output frequency up to 400Hz;
- Acquisition/processing of data from extremely advanced/sophisticated sensors;
- Transmission/reception of high-speed and high-immunity data (fibre-optics, special protocols, etc.);
- Structure of extremely rapid and optimised control/command algorithms supported by advanced microcomputers, DSPs, CPLDs and FPGAs;
- Development of highly flexible and intelligent peripherals that are able to continue operating even when sectors or segments have failed;
- Development of peripherals that are tightly integrated with the base unit (our “crossless” protocol), a modular technology that optimises the plant in terms of cost, even where extremely high performance is required. | |
